Working with Hans Abrahamsen and The Arditti Quartet

Coming up autumn 2016 is the ECM New Series release of Frode Haltli’s new CD ‘Air’, featuring works for accordion and strings by Hans Abrahamsen and Bent Sørensen. Below are photos by Hanne Budtz-Jørgensen from a session with the Arditti Quartet, working with Hans Abrahamsen on his piece ‘Three Little Nocturnes’ (2005) for string quartet and accordion. The Arditti Quartet consists of Irvine Arditti and Ashot Sarkissjan (vlns), Ralf Ehlers (vla) and Lucas Fels (vc).
