Norwegian artist Morten Traavik is a controversial artist, who has run many art projects such as ‘Miss Landmine’ and ‘Pimp My Aid Worker’ that has gotten broad attention world wide. One of his main projects for the time beeing is ‘The Promised Land’, which is based on cultural exchange between Norway and North Korea. His short film with the accordion quintet from the Kim Sung School in Pyongyang playing the Norwegian pop hit ‘Take on Me’ will soon reach 2 million hits on YouTube:

I will probably meet and perform with these fine musicians, but the main part of the concert in Pyongyang will be musical performances together with the Norwegian musicians Kjetil Møster (saxophone and more), Per Zanussi (double bass) and Per Oddvar Johansen (drums), as well as the theatre piece ‘Song of Norway’ and songs with the actors.
