Tore Bruvoll/Jon Anders Halvorsen: Nattsang

Frode Haltli produced the album Nattsang (Night Song). Tore Bruvoll (guitar) and Jon Anders Halvorsen (folk singer) bring forth a set of beautiful ballads and folk hymns that are deeply rooted in the county of Telemark, Norway. The performers are in their 20s, but the repertoire is far much older with some of the ballads dating as far back as to the medieval ages. Guest musicians include Arve Henriksen, Gjermund Larsen and Per Oddvar Johansen.
